The language of kids
Our neighborhood school finally opened on August 27th and it is sooooo cool to have a school on the street behind us. It's about the distance of 12 houses away and Matthew and Mason can walk to and from school. I have to walk with Mason because he's in PM kindergarten but it gives me and the twins a little fresh air when it's not raining. Well, not all the furniture had arrived before school opened, including the tables for Mason's kindergarten class. So every few days we would ask Mason if he had tables in his class yet. Finally, one Friday at dinner we asked him if the tables had come and he replied with big brown bright eyes and the best dimples and said, "Mom, that was like five yesterdays ago." We thought that was the cutest thing he'd ever said in all of his 5 years.
Mrs. Woodbury's classroom before the tables arrived.
Mason's first day of school with his friend Kyle who lives down the street and whom I watched a few days a week for two years before they both started school.I just love this photo of Mason from our day at the waterpark for Mitchell's birthday. He just loves to laugh and make others laugh....love you Mason!

I'm sorry to hear about Mike's dad. He was a nice man and I remember that you always had such nice things to say about him.
I can't believe how big your kids are getting! I love the pigtails--what a cutie. Hope you guys are doing well. You look great!
